Shop Service Technician
Chippewa Falls, WI

T&R Recycling is a family owned and operated company of 30 years located in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. We're currently looking to add a Shop Service Technician to our team.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

This position's primary responsibility is to perform preventative maintenance, repair and inspect company equipment and vehicles with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Previous experience required.
  • Knowledge of mechanical functions, internal combustion, diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics.
  • Must have parts knowledge.
  • The ability to operate various machines, equipment, power and hand tools.
  • The ability to fabricate items as needed and to MIG weld.
  • Must be able to complete necessary paperwork.
  • The ability to problem solve.
  • The ability to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly.
  • The ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, grasp, grip, lift, pull, push, and reach continuously. The ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • The ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor.
  • Able to keep a clean work area.
  • The ability to work in extreme weather conditions: heat, cold, rain and snow.
  • Ability to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Able to read and interpret maintenance manuals and manufacturer's instructions.
  • The ability to communicate effectively.
  • The ability to work cooperatively with others as a team.
  • Must be reliable, detail oriented and able to multitask.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Driver's license is required, CDL preferred.
  • The ability to work overtime when required.

CDL Driver
Chippewa Falls, WI

T&R Recycling is a family owned and operated company of 30 years located in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.  We're currently looking to add a CDL Driver to our team.

This positions primary responsibility will be transporting material and equipment to various locations by means of various truck and trailer types; tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, straight trucks, flatbeds, dump trailers and van trailers. Other duties may be assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate various types of trucks.
  • Load and unload freight as required.
  • Performs daily and routine maintenance on vehicle.
  • Complies with all local, state, federal and company regulations.
  • Completes and submits all required paperwork.
  • Works cooperatively with others as a team.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to read, write and understand verbal and written instruction.
  • Working knowledge of the vehicle he/she is driving-engine, breaks, lights, etc.
  • Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
  • Possesses a valid CDL and medical certificate.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.Must be a self-starter.
  • The ability to communicate effectively.
  • The ability to work in extreme weather conditions: heat, cold, rain and snow.
  • Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, squat, crawl, kneel, grasp, grip lift, pull, push and reach.  Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
